Work Experience

University of Michigan Women's Basketball

2022 - Present

Student Manager

I'm responsible for the organization and set-up of practices and must maintain knowledge of over 20 drills that are conducted during practice. I also work closely with the team Video Coordinator by recording statistics and possessions in Sportscode during both practices and home games. This data is then used in reports analyzed by the coaching staff throughout the season.

NBA Summer League

2022 & 2023

Merchandise & Gear Lead Intern

I returned for my second year as a Summer League intern in 2023 and was awarded the Intern MVP out of over 120 interns due to excelling in my new position overseeing merchandise and staff gear. Under my leadership and management, a record-breaking total of $500,000 in sales over 10 days occurred. During the event, I organized 30+ unique products for staff wear and for purchase to upwards of 17,000 fans per day. I would communicate daily with both the merchandise booth and the Summer League executive staff to ensure all parties were updated on inventory counts and new deliveries. Additionally, I maintained the back-end Shopify system, setting up sale systems pre and post-event.

Basketball Analyst

Each week, I conduct 3 statistical game breakdowns for high school basketball teams. I utilize the Full Court Analytics platform, where I analyze each offensive and defensive possession during a game, tracking specific shot types and actions that lead to a shot attempt. Additionally, I prepare written analytical reports for teams that contain their offensive and defensive weaknesses. I review statistical outputs from the season and search for patterns in the data that can be translated into actionable recommendations for the coaches and their players.

Co-Creator & Co-Host

2023 - Present

Personal Foul Podcast

I created a weekly sports podcast covering relevant topics in basketball and football with two close friends of mine at the University of Michigan. Through extensive research, I quickly learned how to record, produce, edit, and publish each episode using Adobe Audition and Spotify for Podcasters. I also design graphics that are published on the Personal Foul social media accounts.

Sport Business Association

2022 - Present

Marketing Committee, Research & Insights Committee

On the Marketing Committee during the 2022-23 schoolyear, I designed weekly posts for the SBA Instagram for speaker events and professional development workshops for new members. During events and off-campus trips, I captured content featured in designated Instagram feed and story posts. This year, I am on the Research & Insights Committee, where I've used analytical tools to increase membership engagement and have drawn a 95% increase in unique visitors to the organization's sport business journal.
